Happy Christmas and Holidays 2015

Mr Know and Terry Tan think they have found Christmas Island!  The verse at the lower left reads; ‘God did not send His Son into the world to condemn its people, He sent Him to save them!’  JOHN 3:17. All the rabbits from K.C. Bunnyborough hope all the followers and readers of this site have a very happy holiday season.

Next month I will put the email address to this site in this space for people who would like to send a photo of Sylvanian rabbits, mice or guinea pigs. The photos are to have the animals doing something or in front of an interesting background. So you can think about it. I will accept photos to post on this site during the month of January. If I get too many photos I will shorten the postal time. Thanks.

Please send your photo to karen2005@slingshot.co.nz Thanks.

The House Warming Afternoon Tea

The rabbits at Mr and Mrs White’s house get up later than usual because last night they had a House Warming Party to celebrate moving into their new house. This afternoon the youngest rabbits and rabbits with disabilities are coming to Mr and Mrs White’s house for afternoon tea.

It does not take long for the family to tidy up in expectation of the visitors. Baby Gwen is anxiously waiting for the visitors to arrive.

Mr White is checking, for the second time, the drawers and places where his music books and music sheets have been put. This piece of toast Gwen has put in the top drawer needs to be removed!

There is a knock on the door and Mrs White opens the door to welcome in Nurse Emily, Rosemary, Rata, Marigold and Dental Nurse Flo.

Next to arrive is Mrs Know with the twins, Herb and Hebe. Mrs Know is not going to stay so Mr White pushes the pram up the step and into the house.

Mrs Grayson has brought baby Pip, cousin Brooke and baby  Nugget Chocolate. The baby rabbits quickly hop inside the door and Mr White waves good bye to Mrs Grayson.

Pink Nose gives Rosemary a drink of orange juice. Rosemary thanks Pink Nose and tells Pink Nose that she likes her new dress.

All the rabbits have arrived who were invited so Mr and Mrs White ask the baby rabbits to sit on the white mat.

Mr White plays the piano and plays well known children’s songs. The adults sing heartily whereas the baby rabbits produce a range of squeaking out of time to the  music that is being played!

Then the rabbits hear a very loud squeak! The rabbits look over in the direction of Mrs Know’s pram and they see Nugget has crawled underneath and has his ear caught between the spokes of the pram wheel.

Just as well there is a nurse in the house. Nurse Emily gently slides Nugget out from under the pram and asks Mrs White for a bandage. Mrs White can’t think where she put the bandages so she gets Mr White’s blue shirt and rips it into strips to tie around firmly to the affected ear to stop the swelling. The baby rabbits jump onto the couch to have a closer look at Nugget's bandaged ear.

Now that the ear is bandaged and Nugget has stopped squealing Mr and Mrs White move the table outside to put the afternoon tea on.

Nurse Emily puts Nugget in Herb and Hebe’s pram and gives him his bottle. Herb and Hebe are not very happy about that but when they see the afternoon tea Mrs White has provided they focus on that.

Mrs White puts a plate of gingerbread men, a plate with fancy biscuits and a plate of cheesecake on the table. A drink of orange is provided for all. Dental Nurse Flo is wandering why there is no fruit or vegetables provided for afternoon tea.  Well… it is a happy occasion to invite the rabbits who live at K. C. Bunnyborough Health Care Centre to join in the celebration.

Mrs Chocolate is the last mother to arrive to pick up Nugget to take home. Nurse Emily explains to her what happened to Nugget’s ear. Mrs Chocolate expresses how grateful she to Nurse Emily for bandaging his ear and thanks Mrs White for having Nugget for the afternoon.
