K. C. Bunnyborough Medical Centre - Visitors

The Medical Centre is operating very well with Nurse Flo helping Nurse Emily.

Nurse Flo has made breakfast for the patients. As she finishes making the beds she sees Mr Kiwi arrive.

They greet each other and he asks Nurse Emily if she will use his new eye drops that he has made especially for Rata.   He tells the Nurses that it is a great formula and his brother, Dr Kiwi, has given his approval for the eye drops to be used.

Nurse Emily administers the blue eye drops to Rata’s eyes and tells her to stay lying down for five minutes with her eyes shut as Mr Kiwi has instructed.

Five minutes later Rata stands up, (she can’t sit down because of the bullet injury that has affected her back and eyes), she tells the Nurse’s that her eye sight is still blurry and she can now see things in purples!... instead of a shades of red. Mr Kiwi comments that the purple colour is gentler to her eyes than seeing everything in red all the time. Nurse Emily and Nurse Flo are not so sure about that. Mr Kiwi leaves after saying that he will do some more experimenting on her special eye drop lotion and will keep in touch. Nurse Emily tells Rata that she has ordered some special glasses for her to wear which will arrive any day soon.

Mr Grayson and Mr Blue arrive carrying a toilet to install in the Medical Centre.  The nurse’s both agree that they would like it installed on the second floor.

Later in the day Mrs Clematis Know, the school teacher, arrives and asks to make an appointment. Nurse Emily invites her into the consultant room and says she can have her appointment now.

Clematis discusses with Nurse Emily her health problem and Nurse Emily tells Clematis to go to the toilet (the toilet has been installed just in time!) and give her a sample of urine and come back the next day to find out the result of the test.

A parcel has arrived addressed to Nurse Emily; she opens it and inside is the pair of glasses that she had ordered for Rata.

The glasses will filter out the brightness which will reduce the strain on her eyes. She is seeing shades of red again because Mr Kiwi’s blue eye drops, when used, gives purple vision for about four hours.

Mrs Grayson has arrived with Ingrid and asks  Nurse Emily if she can give Ingrid a health check.
Mrs Grayson has brought some new bed linen for Nurse Emily’s bed which Nurse Flo accepts and goes and remakes Nurse Emily’s bed while Nurse Emily is giving Ingrid a health check.

Nurse Emily tells Mrs Grayson that Ingrid has a clean bill of health but to encourage Ingrid to drink more water.Nurse Emily and Nurse  What a busy day it has been at the Medical Centre today.   Both Nurses feel very satisfied and happy as they get into their beds for another night's sleep.
